Sunlight After the Rain...
I could hear the rain moving through the hollow with a white noise hiss of a radio
tuned to nowhere. As a cloud passed it allowed a beam of intense sunlight to shine through
the falling rain. The cloud became a kid riding a tricycle with an enormous rainbow wheel.
All the late summer songbirds thought the event was reason to sing whole heartily.
